Aston Martin Volante Vision is a concept that will change the luxurious mobility in the sky.
The cities population is rising and we need to find new ways to improve transportation. While we are searching for new solutions, some companies are offering many alternative ways to solve the problem. One of the offers is automated electrical vehicles, half cars half drones flying in the sky. These flying cars are environmentally orientated. In fact, they release less pollution and offer better mobility and comfort.
Human transportation with flying cars is not a new concept either, it has been known for a while. This concept has been seen and fantasied about since sci-fi movies started spreading the idea.
A Beast, born out of elegance and technology
Aston Martin is a world known car manufacturer that is producing luxury sports cars. People that usually buy these cars are very specific with their taste and style. This year on July 16 they released their new model Aston Martin Volante Vision concept vehicle. Together with Cranfield University, Cranfield Airspace solution, and Rolls Royce, they are aiming to produce a new luxury vehicle for batter air mobility.
Aston Martin Volante vision is designed as an aircraft with vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) capabilities. Having this option will eliminate the crowded streets and will offer faster and more convenient transportation in the sky. From the pictures, we can see that the vehicle is powered by three propellers, one large horizontal at the back and two others at the front.
Besides the technological achievements, the new Volante model has the contemporary Aston Martin design built in its outlook.”We have used forms and proportions that express the same devotion to design, engineering and beauty that shape our cars” is the motto of Marek Reichman, the designer of the vehicle.
Overall this aircraft offers a big advantage compared to its competition. The combination of technological achievement and ultra modern and luxurious design is what makes this model special. While we don’t get any other information from the company, we can just watch the pictures and admire this amazing flying beast.
